🚀 Quickstart - GroupGuard in 5 minutes
This guide walks you from registration to having the bot protecting your first WhatsApp group.
Step 1: Connect AllChat (1 minute)
Before we start, you need to connect your AllChat account:
- Go to Settings ← WhatsApp connections
- Click "Connect AllChat account"
- Enter the API Key from allchat.co.il
- Confirm the connection
💡 Don't have an AllChat account yet? Create one here — there's a free plan to start.
Step 2: Add the bot to a group (1 minute)
- Open the group in WhatsApp
- Click the group name ← Add participants
- Add the bot's number (you'll find it in the GroupGuard dashboard)
- Send any message in the group so the bot "sees" it
Step 3: Enable GroupGuard on the group (30 seconds)
- Back in TaskFlow ← GroupGuard ← Groups tab
- You'll see the new group in the list (if not, click "Scan groups")
- Toggle the switch next to the group name ⚡
- Done!
Step 4: (Optional) Make the bot an admin
So the bot can delete messages and remove spammers automatically:
- In the group ← click the bot's name
- Make admin
- Give it permissions:
- ✅ Remove participants
- ✅ Delete messages
⚠️ Without admin permissions the bot still works — but it'll only detect and alert. It can't act on its own.
Step 5: Test (30 seconds)
- Ask a friend to write a message in the group
- Back in TaskFlow ← GroupGuard ← Group Members tab
- You'll see them appear in the list within a minute
🎉 That's it! GroupGuard is live and working.
