📊 GroupGuard Dashboard - What every number means

The dashboard is the first page you'll see in GroupGuard. It shows the real-time state of all your groups.

Top metric cards

👥 Active members

The number of unique people who spoke in your groups in the last 30 days.

💡 Why does this matter? It shows how "alive" the group really is — not how many people are in it, but how many actually write.

💬 Messages today

Total messages that passed through the bot since the start of today.

🛡️ Protection actions

How many times the bot acted today (deletions, removals, warnings).

🚨 Spammers detected

Number of users that have been flagged as spammers by the system.

Weekly activity chart

Shows the 3 most active groups from the past week:

  • Blue — regular messages
  • Red — messages flagged as spam
  • Green — new members who joined

💡 How to read it: If you see a sharp red spike — there was probably a spam attack. Click the chart to drill down.

Recent events list

The 10 most recent bot actions across all your groups:

IconMeaning
🚫Member removed
🗑️Message deleted
⚠️Warning issued
New member joined
🔍Suspicious user detected

Quick filters

Above the dashboard there are filters that change what you see:

  • Time range: Today / 7 days / 30 days / 90 days
  • Specific group: All groups / one group
  • Activity type: All / spam only / new members only

Tips for reading the dashboard correctly

Healthy pace = steady daily messages, few protection actions ⚠️ Heads up = sudden spike in detected spammers — check the group 🚨 Problem = more protection actions than regular messages = active spam attack
